The Beginning
The Mountain Treasure Chest began in a small but lovely store front near the McCall Air Port. It was originally established to give friends and family an opportunity to sell their antiques and collectibles. It has grown in the past several years and has moved to a beautiful location in the heart of town. It now has a vast array of Antiques and Collectibles from various locals and Idahoans. You can find a treasure with every visit as new items are constantly arriving.

Peggy is no stranger to owning a business in McCall, her family summoned her in the late '70 to Idaho to help with the family restaurant (the Logjam Bakery) and garbage business (P&D Disposal) . Now a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Group, Peggy's entrepreneurial sprit came back when she helped a friend sell some Antiques and Collectibles. This is how it all started. The Mountain Treasure Chest is a place where people can consign their items, shop in a friendly environment, and shop for unique products to brighten their homes and cabins. Her daughter and grandchildren are the buyers for the store and are always on the look out for new products to bring to McCall. Rebecca, Peggy's Grand Daughter, sees something and says "this would be great for Gramma's world." Remember that even the smallest of people can find the most beautiful items to buy and sell at The Mountain Treasure Chest.
